The lodge sits above the main street. You walk down for the lake and up for sleep. Rooms are wood, warm, and simple. Breakfast is bread, cheese, and coffee that is actually hot.

This is the quieter alternative to a lake-front balcony. Bring walking shoes. The path is steep after rain. Staff will call a taxi to the ferry if you do not want the walk with luggage.
