Indonesia is an archipelago; a first Journea trip is usually Bali with one inland stay. Ubud for rice terraces and temples, then a coast town for swimming. That split keeps the week from being only traffic or only sand.
Expect humidity, offerings on every pavement, and drives that take longer than the map suggests. A driver for the week is calmer than renting a scooter on day one.
Ubud mornings are for a temple or a terrace walk before the heat. Afternoons can be a cooking class or nothing. The coast days are for reef or a quiet beach, not a packed island-hop unless you ask for one.
If you want a sunrise volcano, we treat it as a single early start with a recovery morning after. It is not a casual add-on.
Rice terrace paths are uneven and can be slippery after rain. A walking sandal with grip is enough. Temple visits include stairs and a sarong, which is usually provided.
Snorkel days are boat-based. Say if you are not a confident swimmer and we will pick a calmer bay.

Seven nights is a clean Bali first visit. Lombok or the Gili islands need extra nights and a boat or flight. We will not hide that transfer in a brochure line.
